Product details
1. Adjustable dimming mirror frame is a combination frame, and rotating the frame can drive the lenses to rotate relative to each other, thereby achieving the effect of adjustable ND value. By rotating the frame, we can see the change of the lenses from bright to dark;
2. The adjustable dimming mirror utilizes the principle of stacking two CPLs to achieve the purpose of adjustability. The recommended range of use is ND2-ND400, which cannot be achieved in high-density segments such as ND1000 and ND2000
When using an adjustable dimming mirror, it is necessary to familiarize oneself with the scale range first. When facing the sky or a brighter place, turn the lens from min to max, and pay attention to the color change of the viewfinder. At the beginning of uneven dimming, record the scale at this position. This scale is the slow gate switching position, and the subsequent scale range must be extended to eliminate the “butterfly shadow”. X-ray and high-density segments generally require a long exposure of more than 4 seconds to eliminate obvious uneven dimming. Uneven dimming is not a quality issue, it is a case of Moir é fringes. Through sufficient exposure to the “X” shadow for a long time, the light can be eliminated. The Max position is the limit position, and it is obviously unusable when approaching ND1000. The recommended range for adjustable dimming mirrors is ND2-400!
